Anne Shelley CAT Executive Director anne@catfayetteville.org Shelley’s experience includes serving for five years as executive director of Just Communities of Northwest Arkansas. She left in 2007 after adopting her daughter from Vietnam.Since that time, she has continued to consult for Just Communities of Arkansas, out of Little Rock. She directed Just Communities’ youth program, Ourtown for Teens, for the past two summers, in addition to teaching diversity awareness for the organization.In addition, Shelley served as community outreach coordinator for CAT in 1998. She left to manage the Campaign for Human Dignity that year. “My experience has been solely that of community organizing, directing nonprofits and working to make an important organizational mission a successful reality for the people it serves,” Shelley said in her letter to the search committee. She added that she felt her qualifications and experience “are a good match for the unique needs of CAT at this juncture in its notable history as a vital part of the Fayetteville landscape.” |

Mark Warren Production Coordinator/Interim Administrator mark@catfayetteville.org Mark Warren started his interest in video production when he was working on the eighth grade graduation film. From there he progressed to making small films with his high school friends. In 2002, he attended Pittsburgh State University, where he studied communications with the emphasis on broadcasting. In 2003 he was offered a position with a local Kansas television station, KOAM TV 7, where he worked as a morning news assistant. He learned the in's and out's of running a morning news show by running the camera, using the audio board, editing tapes, and looking up stories to air on the morning news. Fast forward to present day, Mark is now the production coordinator for CAT. He enjoys passing on his knowledge of video production to the citizens of Fayetteville and looks forward to continuing working in this creative field. |

Heather Drain Administrative Manager heather@catfayetteville.org Heather Drain was born on April 29 in the small college town of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Raised by an amazingly supportive and loving parents, she developed a love for all things creative at a very early age, especially writing and the visual arts. At age 21, she took her love of writing to the next level and started doing it professionally. Being able to balance both non-fiction and fiction, she’s been featured in such publications as the Little Rock Free Press, Ultraviolent, Cultcuts, and Cinefear. In addition to this, she’s been involved with video at Community Access Television for over 2 years now. In the daytime, she’s their office coordinator and at night, she produces her own series, “Mondo Pazzo.” She is happily married to fellow artist, writer, and CAT Producer C.F. Roberts. They live in their one bedroom apartment with their two pet rats, Eddy and Andy. |
