Thought I'd give one more shout out to the community before I head out on my own. That's right folks, after much thought, I have decided to resign as CAT Outreach Specialist. That's not to say I won't still be around CAT doing what I do, which is music and art and other personal endeavors. After 4 years of serving the community through CAT, I will go back to using CAT as a citizen, a producer, and an activist. I have met so many wonderful people through CAT and have made lifelong friends with many of the staff I've worked with.

PLEASE NOTE!!! The FAT CAT AWARDS SHOW has been scheduled for FRIDAY, MAY 21st from 6-9pm in the CAT Studio!!!! There are 36 nominees in 10 CAT-egories. Join the fun and celebrate in the accomplishments of our CAT Producers! From 6-7pm, enjoy dinner prepared by Dave Johnston and area caterers. At 7pm, the show starts LIVE in the studio. Be a part of the studio audience or tune in LIVE on the website: www.catfayetteville.org. Nominees may attend the event for $10 (discount for multiple entries) and the general public is $25. Please show your support of public access and community programming!

We wanted to give everyone a head's up and let you know that Free Speech TV is about to have their quarterly fundraiser from May 10th to May 30th. This includes such FSTV programming as Democracy Now. As some of you might know, CAT cannot air FSTV during this time as it directly violates our "call to action" policies.

I thought It might be appropriate to announce on here that I have stepped in as the Interim Administrator for Community Access Television! This is only a temporary role for me until the CAT board finds a replacement manager. Also, until then I will still be fulfilling my duties as the Production Coordinator! So as usual I will be busy, busy, busy! But you all know me, that's how I like to be! And one more thing, I will also be putting in for the managers position here as well!
